Quick intro to the bridesmaids, who I like to call the "Bee-maids." Here's the buzz:
Katie Jellison: the fabulous Maid-of-Honor, Bridgit's kindred spirit, former roommate & volleyball teammate. She will bring much entertainment and style to the festivities!
Carolyn Espinoza: Bee-maid, Matt's sister and one of our favorite people that we're so lucky to also call a relative! So happy she's able to take a break from Minnesooota to be by our sides on our wedding day.
Raegan Horvay: Bee-maid, Bridgit's sister, mother of the ring bearer :) By day, she saves the world one child at a time—by night, she juggles a two-year-old and a puppy.
Lisa Horvay: Bee-maid, Bridgit's sister, Certified Massage Therapist, world traveler and surfer. I swear this is the last time I will make her play dress-up.
Maggie Horvay: Bee-maid, Bridgit's sister-in-law, currently completing Dental Hygeine school—yay! We all smile a little brighter thanks to Maggie :)
Marie Smith: Bee-maid, survived living with Matt, Bridgit, Dmitri (the best man) AND Julie (the cutest trash-picking dog there ever was) all at once! The wedding party wouldn't be complete without her.

The Venue
We've been busy setting the stage for our big day...literally! After looking into just about every possible wedding venue in the tri-state area (once Savannah was ruled out), my Mom suggested we look into The Warner Theatre. Hmm...interesting idea, Mom. It's different, which was very important to us. It's gorgeous, meaning big savings on decorating. It's indoor, so no worry about rain interfering with any plans. And the best part, it's owned by the Northwest Connecticut Association for the Arts, so our money would be going to a good cause. Let's do it!
The Warner is a stunning art deco theatre built by the Warner Bros. in 1931. It gave us goose bumps when we took a tour and we can't wait until we get to share it with you. Here are some pics:
The marquis out front...our names will be up there :)
The lobby, which will be home to cocktail hour, woo hoo!
The view from the stage. Wait until you see this place, EVERY inch is covered in detail!
The star, besides being amazingly decorative, is actually the air conditioning unit!
Can you tell we love our venue?
